Damien's photography career
began at the age of 18. His discovery years bought him to Sydney where he honed his photography skills & developed his unique style. In 2006 he began traveling extensively with his career. Opportunities firstly drew him to Italy and Germany, before eventually settling in London, where he was based for 9 years.
Damien is best known for his conceptual approach to shooting fashion and advertising. His unique style incorporates visual storytelling with a filmic feel. This style and creativity have enabled him to shoot for an array of Magazines and Advertising Agencies as well as repeat Fashion Campaigns for independent labels.
Recent years have seen a move into high-end portraits, athlete profiles, and sports stories (inspired by his personal interest in Kitesurfing/Mountain Biking and the great outdoors). His experience in making people “look good” shooting fashion has given him a unique edge in some of these disciplines.
Longing for the NZ lifestyle once again Damien has now returned home to Auckland and is loving his new base. Get in touch for your next project.
